The pie chart depicts the information about the reasons behind the less cultivation in farming areas while, the tabular chart reveals the data of three continents of world which had bad impact of land degradation in year 1990.
Overall, it is clearly seen that over-grazing and deforestation were the main causes of land degradation whereas, Europe was most affected by this problem.
It is vivid from pie chart, the main cause for low productivity was over-grazing which affect farming land with 35% worldwide. Moreover, there are equal influence of over-grazing and deforestation on the agricultural land with average of about 29% in 1990s. However, other factors which had bad impact on land cultivation may affect with only 7% of whole.
Furthermore, three regions are influenced due to land degradation. Europe was the most affected continent with almost quarter and North America was insignificantly impacted by land degradation. Besides this, Oceania, a large group of islands in South Pacific included Australia and New Zealand were badly impacted with about 13% during 1990s.
