The charts delineate the proportion of water utilized by six different countries for industrial, agricultural, and domestic use.
In general, what stands out is that each nation uses water for irrigation in large quantity, whilst having an exception for North America and Europe where the industry uses a greater amount of water than other sectors.
Focusing on America, North America uses greater than one-third portion of the water in agriculture, while the approximately twice amount of water is used in South America for the same. In contrast, Aisa uses more than two-third part of the water in farms, precisely 88 percent and 81 percent by Central Asia and South East Asia respectively.
On the other hand, a similar trend is observed in other nations such as Africa, to be accurate 84 percent of water is utilized in agriculture whereas Europe uses more than half the water supply in industries. Water used for domestic purposes is at a lower rate than other nations, having an exceptional case for South America where a greater percentage of water is used in agriculture followed by domestic use and one-tenth portion is used in industries.
