The chart shows students expenditure over a three period in the United Kingdom (1996-1999)
The chart shows the changes which took place in students expenditure aged under 26 in higher education between 1996 and 1999 years in the United Kingdom respectively.
Overview, it could be seen from the chart during that there-year spending expenditure most of items decrease slightly, although some items needed more money in 1999. Even in one item-children- did not appear in 1999.
Three items increased slightly in expenditure including essential travel, entertainment and non-essential consumer. Essential travel rose from 4 % to 6%. An entertainment was the highest expenditure for three years, at 1996 students paid 26% for that, in 1996 it became 32%. The other student expenditure -non-essential consumer and credit repayment- increased 3%, it reached 16% in 1999.
On the other hand, remain items decreased in student expenditure. Course expenditure and accommodation decreased 3% from 1996. Moreover, food, bills, household goods reduced from 20% to 18% and non-essential travel fall from 4% to 3%. Interestingly student did not expend money for children in 1999 unlike in 1996.
