Write a letter to your friend ask him /her to look after your house in your absence, give reasons for your travel and any specific instructions/ request.
Dear Mohit,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing this letter to request you to take care of my house for seven days as I have to go India to see my family.
Last week, my grandfather met with an accident and admitted to hospital. As you know I have to be there in this hard time to support my family emotionally or financially too. I am very close to my grandfather because he supported me every time and how can I forget that he sold his property when I needed money to study in Canada. I will be here after one week so that is why I am requesting you to keep an eye on my house.
I have already done some preparations for you, like, you will get the keys from my next Neighbours. I have filled the fridge with eatable items and mainly for you I have put two corona beer cases. You know that I have fishes in a fish tank in my drawing room so I put the all stuff that that you need under fish tank. I will be back on the 30th may so I need you be there till 30th. It would be my pleasure I you stay long so after returning back we can spend some time together.
In case you cannot make it then let me know as soon as possible so I can do some other arrangements.
Yours lovingly,
Manmohan
