The pie chart and the table given illustrate the figures relating to the citizens/ inhabitants in Australia based on various nationalities and regions.
Looking at the charts, it is immediately clear that while the majority of Australian citizens were native/ indigenous, the least population in the country was recorded for those being Dutch. Another key feature is that most people in Australia were city-dwellers.
In terms of the pie chart, the percentage of people hailing from Australia accounted for 73%. Meanwhile, the proportion of those with other nationalities doubled the rate of those who were British, which was 14% to 7%. Minorities were seen in the proportion of Dutch and Chinese people, as well as New Zealanders. To be specific, these figures were 1%, 2% and 3%, respectively.
Regarding the table, 89% was the percentage of Australian citizens hailing from Britain resided in the city, whereas 11% was the figure for those living in the countryside. A somewhat uniform ratio was seen in New Zealanders being resident in urban and rural areas, which was 90% to 10%. The percentage of authentic Australian city-dwellers and rural residents accounted for 80% and 20%, respectively. Meanwhile, 83% and 17% were the respective figures for Dutch nationals living in Australian urban and rural regions. Almost all chinese people based in Australia resided in cities, with only 1% among them living in the countryside
