The line graph compares and contrasts hpw many cars were stolen per thousand vehicles in four different countries: Great Britain, Sweden, France, Canada respectively over the last decade of the 20th century.
Overall, the number of car thief in Great Britain, France, and Canada decreased over the time frame while Sweden saw an opposite trend.
It is immediately apperant that the quantity in Great Britain was the highest and much greater than the others. After starting at around 18 per thousand in 1990, the number of car thiefs experienced a period of volatility over the first five years of the decade. Then ut went down modestly is the last years. Similar patterns were repeated for France and Canada. These figures declined slightly form 8 and 7 respectively In 1990 to around 6 per thousand in the last year.
The one country that showed a different pattern is Sweden. It is interesting that the number of cars were stolen in Sweden rose significantly from just 6 to roughly 14 car per thousand over the time period.
