In the modern world, some people think that we are more dependent on others, but some people think that people have become more self-reliant and make their own decisions. I believe people are becoming more independent over the years.
The main reason some people think we are becoming more and more dependent is due to globalization. The rising cost of living forces most people to work to earn money. Therefore, some families do not have time to take care of their children, so they have to depend on their parents in the process of taking care of their children.
However, I agree with other people's opinion that in the modern world we are gradually becoming freer and less dependent on others. For example, we can freely choose schools, travel to other countries, and make choices for most major life events, including choosing our life partner. Unlike in the past, there is a certain pattern in every family, "parents put where the children sit" means that everything from the way you dress, the way you live, even the choice of a life partner depends on your parents.
In conclusion, although some people think that people become more reliant on each other, I firmly believe that we are much more self-reliant and independent
