The given line graph illustrates the transformation trends of using modern technology devices namely CD player, DVD player, mobile phone, and internet connection in households in the UK from 1994 to 2008.
Overall, the changing proportions of access technology tools increased over the period of 15 years. Although the four trends were similar in a general term went up, the change of CD player is the highest in four categories.
From 1994 to 1997, the changing of the CD player rose slightly, at 60% of the period. Throughout the remainder of the period, there was steady growth of CD player. However, in the 2006-2008 period, the trend was downward at about 85%. Between 1998 to 2008, Internet connection increased gradually at about 65%.
In the same period, DVD player and mobile phone had more significantly upward trends than two others. From 1996 to 2003, the mobile phone fluctuation was wild. After that, it has moderate waves, at about 80% in 2008. From 2002 to 2005, DVD player went up dramatically, at about 80% in 2005. Throughout the remainder of the years, there was a steady growth, at about 80% in 2008.
