The table illustrates the number of marriage in religion and civil marriage from the year 1960 to 2000 and the average age of bride and bridegroom.
Overall, the age in both genders increase as the year increase and numbers of marriages in civil also increase as in religion marriage slightly in 1980 then number of marriage fall down, which increases later.
Initially in the year 1960 the number of religion marriage was 25000 which reach its peak in year in 1980 by 50000 but later in 1990 it falls to the number of 32000 and gradually it rose to 34000 in year 2000 .Whereas in civil marriage the number grew 5 times from 8000 to 40000 in the year 1960 to 2000.
Secondly, in the year 1960 the average age of the bride was 21 and age of bridegroom was 24 which also gradually increases by time which reach 30 age for bride and 32 for bridegroom.
