First, a blade is used to carve the logs into individual veneers, which are then cut up into smaller pieces by a chopper. Next, the pieces are soaked in an ammonium phosphate tank before being transferred into a drying unit. On the next stage of production, the dried wood pieces are dropped into a hopper and are then shot into the storage area using the help of a blower. At this point, the treated pieces are steadily lowered into an inserter for further processing. By the 6th step, a perforated steel belt dipped the pieces into three separated tanks respectively filled with paraffin wax, based chemicals, and tip chemicals, before moving them to the drying area. Finally, the coated wood pieces, which are now commercially referred to as ‘matches’, are packaged to be sold to the public.
