it is better for college students to live in schools than live at home with their parents. What extent do you agree or disagree
Nowadays, It is said to be more beneficial for university learners stay on campus instead of living with with parents. Personally, I partly agree with this idea for some convincing reasons.
On the one hand, staying on campus daily actually has some advantages for students. Firstly, it will gradually make a formation of their new independent life. As living away from home without care from parents, they must be aware of what they have to take actions and learn how to take care of themselves. For example, they have to do chores, self-study, preparing schedule, how to protect themselves or even make crucial decisions in their life. After all, they receive more experience in life and become more mature. Secondly, students would have a chance to extend their relationship. Since living together, they have more time to play, to confide, even find friends like siblings, support each other even after graduation. Threfore, their student life might be fiiled with precious memories. Take me as an example, due to having dificulty in learning, every day I always have encouragement and support from friends and teachers, they even teach me again enthusiastically. It’s way make me feel more motivated.
On the other hand, I hold a firm belief that living at home with parents would give students some positive effects. The primary reason is that study results are increasingly bad as living far from home can tackle a lack of parental sentiment, homesickness, its problems could partly influence on their study and easily distract. Another explanation is that it’s more easily to be lured into illegal activities and spoiled. Since lacking of parental care and frenquent observation, they are hardly to avoid temptations and go down the path of social evil like thives, pickpocketing and so on.
In conclusion, it is inarguable that staying in school are both beneficial and disadvantageous in many aspects.
