The table below shows the results of surveys in 2000, 2005 and 2010 about one university
The table illustrates the survey of the percentage of students giving good ratings for different aspects of a university in the year of 2000, 2005 and 2010.
It is clear from the chart that there were increases in the percentage of students highly rated for teaching quality and electronic resources. By contrast, the proportion of students giving good ratings for print resources, range of modules offered and buildings/teaching facilities went down slightly and remained stable.
From 2000 to 2010, the group involved teaching quality and electronic resources grew consistently. A massive 65% of students rated for teaching quality and this number continued to rise to 63% in 2005 and 69% in 2010. Furthermore, the figure for electronic resources increased dramatically from 45% to 88%. In 2010, it reached a high peak at 88%.
Between 2000 and 2010, the proportion of students choosing print resources, range of modules offered and buildings/ teaching facilities almost decreased and held steady.In 2000, a hefty 87% of students voted for print resources. This number increased slightly to 89% in 2005, however, it dipped to 88% in 2010. In addition, there was a considerable decline to 27% in the percentage of students giving ratings for range of modules offered.Moreover, the figure for buildings/teaching facilities stayed constant at 77% in 10 years from 2000 to 2010.
