ETHANOL IS GENERATED BY CORN
The diagram illustrates the process that is used to manufacture ethanol fuel from corn.
Overall, there are eight main stages in the process of producing ethanol fuel from corn, beginning with storing raw corn, followed by several manipulations in a plant, and ending with delivering the fuel to gas stations.
Once raw corn has been delivered to the factory where they are stored. Subsequently, the raw corn is milled before being cooked with water for 4 hours. After that, the mixture is left to ferment for 2 days before separating into a liquid part and a solid part. While the solid part is thrown away, the liquid is purified for 5 hours to generate ethanol fuel. Following on from this, the fuel products are kept in storage.
The final step is that ethanol fuel is transported to a petrol station and ready for consumption.
