Overall, it is notable that in the first diagram, refrigerator and vacuum cleaner are increased significantly and washing machine raised fluctuated by the time. Meanwhile, the number of housework per week was the true opposite for the time quantity.
Upon a closer look at appliance ownership, in the first twenty years, all three lines had an upward trend, the percentage of washing machine was the highest, about 60% and vacuum cleaner was the highest line with approximate 50% at this time. Turning to the figures for hours spent on housework weekly, a plunge from 50 to 15 was seen over the first 60 years, and it then marginally declined to 10 hours by 2019.
