The chart below shows a comparison of different kinds of energy production in France in 1995 and 2005.
The pie charts compare the production of five different kinds of energy such as coal, gas, petrol, nuclear and other sources in France in the year 1995 and 2005.
It is clear that the amount of energy created from gas and coal in France had a big percentage in 1995 and continued to grow minimally in 2005. In contrast, the rate of nuclear energy and other sources generated was lower than other three kinds of energy produced in both 2 years shown.
In 1995, the rate of coal energy production in France was the highest at about 29,80% and was a little bit higher than the figure for the energy created from gas, around 0,15%. During the next 10 years, both kinds of that energy sources rose slightly and the figure for that of coal energy was still higher than that of gas energy generated.
Regarding to the rest ones, the amount of petrol energy produced also had a big number of percent, at about 29,27 % in the year 1995, then this figure declined considerably by around 10%, which reached 19.55% in 2005, whereas the rate of energy created from nuclear and other sources in France experienced a minimum climb in two years shown. However, the expenditure for energy production spent on nuclear energy still kept the low rate, accounting for one tenth the amount of energy generated in 2005.
