Buying things on internet, such books, air tickets, groceries, is becoming more and more popular.
Do the advantages of shopping in this way overweight the disadvantages?
People have differing views about the reliability of online shopping. While some believe that consumers can gain benefits from virtual shopping, I would argue that its demerits are outstanding.
One the one hand, customers can easily shopping without going out from home. People can simply reduce the geographical distance between their houses and shops, in order to ineffortlessly prepare for going out and have time to do another essential things. Besides, consumers proficiently get abundant of feedback of another customers on the technology-based website of the shop, which is highly useful for them to have sufficient knowledge and experience for decision making about whether to buy the products, such as materials, prices. For instance, one of the most predominant internet-based shopping apps is Shoppee, which is essentially useful for people to buy things in the Covid-19 pandemic, in which none have ability to go out and get face-to-face meetings.
On the other hand, costumers can negatively reap countless unbenefits from online shopping. Although products can immediately brought to their houses, it may result in the sedentary lifestyle, which is caused by the lack of physical exercises, as the consequence of staying at home for a long time. Furthermore, despite the convenience from getting the real-experienced feedback, people may be undoubtedly cheated by the virtually faulty complaints by the shop owners because at this day and age, human must survive and thrive in the money-oriented society, so they will do any tricks to take advantage of the others in any circumstances, for example the extravagantly high price of online-sold products.
In conclusion, although online shopping have significant advantages to people, it is my firm belief that its disadvantages is overweighted.
