Some people want to meet each other in person to communicate while others want to telephone instead of face-to-face communication. Which of these communication methods do you prefer? Use specific reasons and examples to support your opinion.
It is undeniable that traditional communication is likely to help people clearly understand each other range from thoughts, gestures, or even body language. However, the advent of communication methods like through phone, laptop, or computer has assisted people to connect in an easy way. In my opinion, I prefer to use the telephone rather than face-to-face communication.
Initially, the using telephone to communicate with others is a convenient and time-effective method. When we would like to communicate with foreign friends or kindred in a long-distance, the traditional way might have many difficulties. Meanwhile, people can keep in touch with people easily via technical devices without concern about distance. The modern mediums of communication have paved a way for promptly and convenient communication.
In addition, take business as an example, a company has multiple branches in different regions. If we would like to exchange or debate any problems, the indirect method of communication will solve the many issues. Connecting with other colleagues, holding meetings become rapidly and effective.
Moreover, the breakthrough of science-technique is made us use mostly portable devices. People tend towards contact directly through their telephone. For instance, when we need to meet partners or friends face-to-face, we should contact them before to ask about time, the place. To avoid that they can do busy something or coincide with their schedule. Indeed, if we use the telephone to discuss basic content before we meet, it helps conversation become convenient and productive.
For the reasons I mentioned above, I think that using the telephone is a useful communication way for a lot of people. We can save many time, commute effort. Besides, these telephone devices also use easily, and anyone might make use of them to serve their study and work.
