Some people believe that teachers play a more important roles than peers in education of children. To what extent do you agree with this?

The Ecological System theory suggested that teachers and peers belong to the Microsystem layer, which strongest and directly influences children’s development. But, some people still believe that compare with peers, teachers play a more essential role in children’s education. I strongly disagree with this perspective. The below essay will be providing my specific point of view about this debate.
First, peer-learning is beneficial to students as it is easier for children to understand the concepts from the perspectives of someone in their development stage, compare to older teachers. In the school context, the roles of teachers as the person, who enforces disciplinary. It is very difficult for teachers to understand deeply about their students' ideas, dreams, and emotions. But, it’s not a big problem when children learn in a peer group, because they are at the same ages, they can understand each other, and give a sympathetic attitude to others. Second, when put in a peers group to learn, children may also be more open to express themselves around their peers, which is very difficult to do when they are learning and communicate with their teachers. For example, a child can express s/he crazy behaviors with their peers without any judgments. But if they do this with their teachers, they can be punished. The teachers' pressure may decrease students’ creative, and curiosity. Last but not least, children spend almost time around their peers, but not their teachers. When we are talking about Education, we are not only talking about school education, but also about the un-school context. Children can spend much time within their peer group, such as learning, playing, communicating, while they just spend a limited time in the classroom with teachers. So, due to these analyses, we can see that peers group seem to play a more important role in children's education than teachers.
Based on these points of view above, I believe that peer-learning is the best way to children's education. The education system needs to create more opportunities for students to help them connect with their peers and learn from peers group.
