The given line graph indicates the rate of urbanization in two different countries: Indonesia and South Korea between 1969 and 2009.
As can be seen from the graph, the rate of urbanization in both two countries witnessed an upward trend. At the beginning of the period the proportion of Indonesia was approximately 17% and then observed a light increase reaching 20% in 1969. Between 1969 and 1979, this number remained stable and saw a steady rise in the next two decades. From 1989 to 2009, the rate of Indonesia rised sharply and reach a peak at the end of the period at about 50%.
The rate went for South Korea was about 30% at the start of the period. It then reached 50% in 1979. The rest of the period obseved a dramatic growth of about 40%. The proportion of South Korea hit a record of 90% after the upward trend.
