The given bar chart and table illustrates the yearly earnings of 2015 and 2016 from the export sector of a country in multitude of categories such as engineered goods, textiles, ornaments (gems and jewellery) , petroleum and agricultural products in addition to change of percentage in export values during the same period of time. Bar chart values are represented in billion dollars.
Overall, the biggest contributor of export earnings is the petroleum products followed by engineered goods in 2015 and during 2016 engineered goods rose significantly (8.5%) to the point of being the biggest contributor as well. In 2015 textiles industry were the least contributor, whereas on the following year it shared the same trend (15.24%) of engineered goods and became almost equal to the second least commodity agricultural products.
In the year 2015, pertroleum products were the top exports by the country accounting to a little more than 60 billion dollars, secondly engineered goods with 58 billion dollars. Followed by Ornamental goods and agricultural products with approximately 42 and 31 billion dollars respectively, however the least being the textiles which account for more than a quarter million.
In 2016, every commodity were increased in the percentage values and it was evidently seen in textiles and engineered goods. But pertoleum and agricultural products had negligible rise 3% and 0.81% each. On the contrary agricultural products are the singular commodity that has dip in the percentage values (5.4%).
