The diagram illustrates the process of manufacturing instant noodles. Overall, the process requires eight stages and involves forming the dough, cooking the noodles, and packing the final process.
At the beginning of the process, flour, which is kept in storage silos, is transported to the production facility by a truck. Flour is blended with water and oil in the mixer to produce the dough, which is then rolled into dough sheets using a series of rollers. After that, the dough sheets are cut into long strips becoming the noodles.
At the next stage, the dough strips are shaped into noodle discs. As the noodle discs are submerged in hot oil, they are cooked. The discs are dried for a period of time.
Packing is the final stage. The dried noodle discs are transferred into cups. As the cups emerge from the machine, vegetables and spices are added which gives extra flour. Finally, the noodle cups are labelled and sealed. The finished product is ready for distribution.
