The chart demonstrates the percentage of spending in a European nation over a course of 40 years, starting in 1960.
Looking at the graph, it is clearly evident that the spending on food, leisure, clothing and fuel declined significantly while there is an upward trend in spending on transport during the period time shown.
To be more specific, the spending on food was highest at ground 34% while fuel was spent at least with 6% in the year 1960. At the same time, the expenditure of clothing and transport were the same, at about 10%.
In the next four decades, food spending was decreased by 20% the expenditure of transport was climbed to 14% and horizontally with food. In the same year, saw a drop to 5% in spending on clothing. The expenditure of energy was reduced from 5% to 3% and remained lower than four type of spending above.
