The line graph illustrates the total number of people who visited to a caribbean island (2010 - 2017), as well as the accounts of people who choose to stay on cruise ships and on the island, Units are mentioned in millions of visitors.
Overall, more than 3.5 million people visited the caribbean island in 2017, while the island had only 1 million visitors in 2010. In the period of the survey, most people decided to stay on the island, however in the last 2 years, people preferred stay on cruise ships more than the island.
During their visit to the island, number of people who stayed on the island steadily rose from 2010 to 2013 from 0.75 million people to 1.5 million people respectively, but the numbers stayed constant till 2015. In 2016, stay on the island decreased to 1.25 million people and in the following year it returned to its previous constant numbers.
In contrast, visitors preference for the cruise ship stay, flutuated in initial three years. Whereas, after 2012 (less than 0.4 million people), a drastic rise in the cruise ship stay was seen until 2017 (2million people) and it even surpassed the numbers of island stay in the middle of 2015.
