The bar chart provides information about major reasons why men and women employees prefer to work remotely in 2019, and the table illustrates the working hour of employees by gender.
Overall, the most important reason for both groups was saving money which had been said by nearly half of the both groups. Moreover, males had more long working hours (over 30), whereas females had more short hours.
To begin with, the number of men and women, that their most important reason to stay home was saving money, had almost similar number with 45% for men and 42% for women. Furthermore, the least concerning reason for females was being productive with 11% and 24% for men, whereas childcare is accounted for the least concerning reason for men with only 4% and 28% women.
Regarding of working hours, as it is obvious from table, majority of women had limited working hours (under 10) compared to men which only 3% of them had under 10 working hours, and this pattern had been reversed for men. To elaborate more, 81% of men had over 30 hours working, while just 6% of women had over 30 working hours.
