It is clearly seen from the graph that the emissions of carbon dioxide underwent a significant increase in the period of 15 years (1990-2004).
In the year of 1990, the amount of co2 emitted was slightly higher than 6,000 million tons. between 1992 and 1994, there underwent a marginal slump, bottoming at around 6,000 million tons. During two years (1994-1996), there has been a 500 million rise in the amount of co2 emissions. there had a fluctuation from 1990 to 1994 but the trend was upward till the year of 1996.
According to the graph, the amount of co2 emissions was no change at 6,500 from 1996 to 1998. over the same period, there has increased considerably by 6,500 million to 7,000 million. there figures continued rising dramatically, hitting its highest points of over 7,500 million tons.
