The infographic depicts a process in which newspapers are produced by using a method called lithography.
Overall, the process comprises six fundamental stages with the utilization of raw paper, ink and some pieces of equipment. The process starts with the preprocessing steps of raw paper and finishes with images printed on newspaper.
A glance at the diagram reveals that the given system includes several rollers. The process commences when a sheet of paper is sent into the first cylinder. Then, this sheet will be moisturised by the dampening rollers before being printed with images by using rolls of inks, which come in a variety of colours.
In the next stages, the coloured sheet of paper will go through three rollers, including the blanket cylinders and an impression cylinder, which will flatten the paper with imprinted images. After that, this sheet of paper will undergo a drying process, with hot and cold air on some conveyors in order to dry printed images on the newspapers.
