Essay topics:

The bar chart compares the proportions of Australians in both genders and various age groups who exercised regularly in 2010.

The bar graphs indicate the percentages of Australians each sex in various age group who did regular physical activity in 2010
Overall, it is clear that the number of women doing exercise was higher than that of men in all age groups. Also noticeable was that the activity figures for women had an upward trend, while the figures for men dropped notably.
Looking at the bar graph more closely, one can see that nearly 52.8 percent of 15 to 24 age group men were in physical activity, which makes them the group with the highest rate of women for the period. However, the percentage of men in activity dropped sharply to 39.5% in the 35 to 44. After that, it fluctuated slightly over the period and stayed at 46.7 in the last group of 65 and over.
On the contrary, it begins with the second rank for women in share of 15 to 24 ages but the rate shoots up considerably from 47.7% to highest point of 53.3 % in share of 45 to 54 ages. Nevertheless, the gap went down minimally at 47.1 percent at the end of share.
