Nowadays people use bicycles less as a form of transport. Why is this the case? What can we do to encourage people to use bicycles more?
Nowadays, people tend to use bicycles less as a means of conveying. This alarming problem springs from cycling’s inconvenient features and dangerous conditions. It must be addressed by several definite actions, including raising the public’s awareness about the benefits of using bicycles and cycling lane construction plans.
First of all, the number of cyclists may decrease from time to time as a result of bike inconvenience. In some emergency cases, the restricted speed of bicycles cannot serve the needs and may affect the work. Moreover, bikes can be stolen easily because of their insecure lock. The next reason is the lack of safe cycle lanes that separate from other transports. It is more dangerous for cyclists when their bicycles do not have indicators to sign and increases traffic accidents
Several solutions could be adopted to tackle this problem, namely, raising the public’s awareness of the benefits while riding a bike. Some environmental organizations can hold more campaigns to demonstrate that bicycles can reduce gasoline and help the earth be greener and cleaner. Additionally, the government should raise funds and work with the local authorities to create a new era for cycling. This measure can give cyclists more opportunities to ride and serve their needs without worrying.
In conclusion, bicycles are used less as a form of transport these days may stem from their limited function and unsafe cycling environment. Strong remedies include sharing with society the positive effects of cycling and planning to build cycle lanes to support cyclists. It is predicted that unless these solutions are adopted, the world will still increasingly use bicycles less in the future.
