Essay topics:

Nowadays computer education is compulsory for young learners in most schools.
Do you think this is necessary or will children acquire these skills naturally from their daily interaction with technology everywhere?

In contemporary society, it is essential for the young to learn computer subjects at schools. However, some say that these skills can be learned from their daily interaction with technological devices. Personally, I totally concur with the former statement.

For a variety of reasons, it would be effective for young students to start learning computer education at their schools. To begin with, most learning aspects in the modern era require the use of computer. For instance, there are a great number of students use their computer for study purposes, such as lesson discussion. Therefore, learning computer skills at school will provide necessary knowledge for young people when it comes to using computer. Moreover, if the young study computer skills in classes, they can be provided with important information which is unavailable if they only interact with technological devices in daily life. Subsequently, they will be benefited in their future career path as they can use the knowledge they acquire in their further study or job.

Apart from the aforementioned practical concerns, it is believed that children can also acquire computer skills by using technology in their daily life. The first reason is that not all knowledge provided from the school teachers is practical and applicable in real life. Instead of that, a number of young learners have a tendency to study technology by using their gadgets on a regular basis. As a result, once these children use their computer frequently, they can become more familiar with computer skills and they will be able to master them. Furthermore, learning technological skills by using devices can give children a sense of comfort rather than the forceful feeling they have at school. Hence, when children are given free choices to learn, their learning progress can become more effective.

Taking everything into consideration, this reinforces my perspective that learning computer education at schools will bring more benefits for young learners.
