The charts provide information about the production, consumption of coffee and the profits distribution in various sectors.
As the chart shows, in term of production it has been observed that south Africa has the largest coffee production represented 44% of the production, while Indonesia followed with 22% and Japan with 18%. Vietnam has the lowest production percentage with 16%. In contrast, in term of consumption Europe has the largest coffee consumption in the world with 41%. American followed Europe in coffee consumption accounted for 39% while the rest of the world and Japan has low consumption rates with 12% and 8% respectively.
Regarding to profit distribution, the profits are distributed following both production and consumption rates. In production rate south Africa has the highest and same in consumption rate, delivery accounted for 51% of the profit from coffee industry, while retailers make 24% from the profit. Exporters and producers with 10% and 15% from the coffee industry.
