The given line graph illustrated the various kinds of meat and fish that were consumed in a European country from 1979 to 2004. Overall, the consumption of chicken went up while the other sustenance decreased throughout the given period time.
As it is presented in the graph, beef was the most popular among these foods in 1979, around 220 grams per person per week. It increased mildly in the next 5 years, approximately 240 grams. These figures then drop rapidly to 110 grams in 2004. Lamb also had the same downward trend when it start at 150 grams then drop sharply in 2004, to 70 grams.
The chicken consumed, on the other hand, depicts an upward trend. In 1979, the consumption was below 150 grams then it shot up to almost 250 grams in 2004
According to the graph, fish was the most un-popular food choice, just below 50 grams but the consumption level was the most stable.
