The diagram below shows how oil is extracted in the production of perfume.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The given process demonstrates the procedure for extracting oil in the perfume manufacture.
Overall, there are 3 steps in total, beginning with the water heating and finishing with the refined essential oil and separated condensed water.
At the beginning of the process, water is boiled on a high-level heat source to become steam within a giant air-tight tank. This steam is then transferred via a pipe to a special chamber where necessary plant leaves are already stored. Next the hot steam is mixed with these materials for making essential oil, which is called vaporization. The collected vapor is at the top of the chamber.
At the third stage of the process, the mixture of vapor is led through another pipe to a smaller compartment with a spiral-shaped tube inside. This container is named condenser; this is where the solution is liquidized and perfume oil extracted at the bottom of the chamber as the final product. The by-product, condensed water, is removed and kept in another container.
