The two maps display an industrial area that is a part of a town called Norbiton. One depicts its current state while the other one depicts how it would look like following planned development. Overall, all the factories will be demolished and in their place will be housings and other infrastructures such as school, medical centre, playground and shop.
At present, the industrial area is situated in the east of Norbiton. In the north is the farmland adjacent to a river running through the area. While in the south, there is a roundabout with two exits, one connects to the major road in the south and the other runs towards a factory in the east. There are factories on both sides of the road and surrounding the roundabout.
In the future, the roundabout will be added two more exits, one of which heading northwest while the other will head north and join a new bridge across the river leading to housing. In the south of the roundabout is a small roundabout connecting to the main road in the south. More facilities will be added, school and the playground in the east, shop and medical centre around the roundabout. New housings will also be built as a replacement for all the factories at present.
