The two maps show the tow centre, Islip in the current form and its proposed expansion.
It is obvious that, the plan is to extend the dual carriageway into the country side allow for more space.
As can be seen, currently the Islip town cenrte consist a school, two housing, two chain shops, and a park facilities. According to the proposal only the school, chain shops which located below the main road and housing remain from the original size. The park decrease in size in the future plan because of the development dual carriageway that located around the all of facilities. The main road change for pedestrians only, chain shops which located up the main road diminished and add bus station, shopping centre, car park and a new housing which has its own entrance. A new housing add close to the park and one housing replaced to wester plan
As a result, Islip town will be has a lot of facilities that people can use them.
