The given table illustrates the total spending of four different car companies on advertising in the UK in the year 2002.
Overall, it was TV that all businesses spent their money on advertising the most, while cinema was not a good choice for those to invest in. In addition, Renault had the highest number of money utilized for advertising compared with the other three companies.
Regarding Renault company, 59 million dollars was invested in executing advertising on television, making it the channel that was used the most, followed by 45 million for the press, 15 million for the radio, and less than 10 million for cinema and outdoor channels. Looking at Rover’s figure, the company spent 38 million dollars on the press, and 45 million on TV, while a smaller amount was seen on radio and out-of-home billboards, at 15 and 2 million dollars respectively.
Turning to Cetirizine, it was observed that the company put its effort on television the most, at 70 million dollars, but only modest expense for the other channels, including 12 million for the press, 3 million for outdoor billboards, and 15 million for the radio. Notably, the cinema channel was not utilized by both Rover and Cetirizine. Finally, it was Vauxhall with 65 million dollars distributed to the television, the same amount as the other three firms for radio, and less than 10 million dollars for the press, cinema, and the OOH.
