Some people believe that spending money on developing technology on space exploration is unjustifiable and there are more beneficial ways to spend this money. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
In this contemporary life, there are many technologies that also help people to explore spaces and the government spends a lot of money on that. However, some people believe that there are many benefits to spending this money. From my point of view, I balance this argument. Explore space is really important especially with development technological but government need to spend balance for this money. This essay will support this statement and give my opinion.
Admittedly, there are some arguments in favor of spending money on space. First, government subsidies for space are believed to equalize exploration opportunities among young scientists regardless of their background. This financial support, presumably, tends not only to increase the overall enrollment rate of lower-income people but also to mitigate their feeling of inferiority, which promotes an egalitarian society. For example, spending money on exploration could help problems in the future including fuel, home or electricity. Second, spending money on space would result in a higher supply of highly qualified workers, which benefits society in the long run. In fact, it is acknowledged that knowledgeable and skilled human capital is imperative to foster economic growth and technological development in any nation.
Nevertheless, the resultant problem would be far more significant than the minor benefits once the government spends too much money on space. First, support money for space would likely correspond with a tremendous financial strain on a country. Generating no income from product and tuition, companies could become over-reliant on the state budget for funding, meaning that there would be less input to develop other important areas such as healthcare systems and transport infrastructure. Second, spending too much money on space would tempt many problems including some people who are not academically inclined or show no interest in space and science. Moreover, spending too much money on space also has some problems such as not enough money for sport or some competition, thereby adding great burden for staff and government, and potentially wasting time that these young people could spend on suitable career paths. It,instead, would be a more suitable financially viable option if the resources were focused on supporting less privileged yet gifted people and having more knowledge.
In conclusion, despite the long-term need to explore space , these arguments have many drawbacks rather than advantages. From my perspective, the government should think clearly before spending money on anything and develop a better society.
