The line graph provides information regarding the unit difference of electricity usage between in winter and in summer by English home. Whereas, the pie chart illustrates the electricity proportions used in four groups of many kinds of devices.
In general, it is clearly seen that the electricity was used more in winter rather than in summer and in both season, the lowest usage was in 9 a.m. Furthermore, the biggest amount of it was mainly spent for heating rooms and heating water.
For a more detailed look at the graph reveals that during the day in winter, the electricity was spent above 30,000 units. It peaks in 11 p.m. when there are about 45,000 units electricity spent. On the other hand, the electricity usage in summer was approximately between 14,000 and 20,000 units. The highest usage rate was in 13.00.
In addition, the rest proportion of electricity was used for ovens, kettles, washing machine (17.5%), lighting, TV, radio (15%), and vacuum cleaners, food mixers, electric tools (15%).
