7. Shopping on the Internet
(Should people shop on the Internet?).
The topic of my presentation is shopping on the Internet.
My presentation consists of following parts.
- First, I would like to tell you about my personal experience.
- After that, I describe the situation in my country.
- Then I would like to talk about some advantage and disadvantage.
- Finally, I would like to express my opinion.
Nowadays there are a lot of different websites on the internet, those people can shop online.
* Now it is about my personal experience.
I have a lot of experience shopping online. Mostly I buy clothes, sports things and leisure articles online. Recently I ordered a pair of shoes online, and I was very pleasure with them. However, my friend bought a cell phone and that was broken.
* Now I would like to talk about the situation in Vietnam.
In my country shopping online is not so popular. Many Vietnamese find shopping online dangerous, and they are afraid of scammers. The people in Vietnam are rather suspicious.
* Now I would like to mention some advantages and disadvantages.
- Advantages: there are many great deals on shopping online. Moreover, it is convenient to order something from home and it is even cheaper. We can order the products of your choice 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For example, if you want to buy something, you have to go to some shops, and sometime there are not what you want. However, you can find quickly on the internet.
- Disadvantages: Maybe it can happen that the order arrives too late, or the description on the internet is not correct. Moreover, you can not try or try on the goods.
* My opinion: Shopping online has both advantages and disadvantages. I find it good to have both options: shopping online and in the shops, so you can surely find the right product.
