Today some of Ministry Education in industrial countries attempt to teach another language to children during the school. Some masters are convinced that it is better to student start to learning a second language in early age at primary school contrast begin learning a foreign language in secondary school.
Some experts suppose it bring some benefits to children. One of most important benefit that they say children must be bilingual is their ability in problem solving. When they learn a foreign language their ability of solving problem has dramatically an increase. Doctor Caroline Edo researcher at Alberta University goes on to say that '' bilingual children have been found to have better skill at problem solving". Addition learning a foreign language early gives them the ability to communicate with and accept other cultures. Its help them connect close relationship with other cultures and religions.
Beside the benefits, early learning a foreign language also has some drawbacks for children. Children need to concentrate on learning their mother tongue instead of learning a foreign language. Learning a new language in primary school may be confusing and west time for children. Other disadvantages of early learning second language in primary school is teachers, may be not well trained to teach another language to children. For example, teach to teacher a second language that they do not know about that it is so hard.
In conclusion, just as a coin has two sides, there are some merits and drawback of start learning foreign language at primary school. We must dependent on merits and demerits decid about learning a second language at primary school.
