ENCOURAGING THE YOUNG GENERATION TO PURSUE ALTERNATE SKILLS: A SUCCESSFUL CAREER TIP
A skill, be it an alternate skill is the ability to do something well, a certain competence or proficiency. Skills are typically acquired or developed through direct experiences and training, and they may require sustained effort. Former US President Barack Obama advised the US citizens to develop alternate skills from school level. In this fast-changing world with the evolvement of new theories and technologies, it is imperative for everyone to pursue alternate skills to add values to his/her career. The alternate skills should be chosen very carefully based on the strength and interest of a person. The pursuance of alternate skills at a younger age will give more opportunity for developing a successful career.
I personally believe that pursuing alternate skills at a younger age will make one more focused and confident in his/her present job. Nurturing both hard and soft skills to develop alternate skill will be beneficial for whole society as a well. If we do not confine ourselves with the benefit of single institution or organization rather if we think broadly, then we will agree that pursuance of alternate skills at younger stage will be able to build a successful career. We should encourage the younger generation from our position to pursue their alternative skills for a successful carrier.
