Should children be encouraged to use computer from an early age?

In the last decade, technology has developed rapidly that almost everyone has a chance to approach and use computer as a helpful tool. it is undeniable that computer is not only convenient but also useful. However, I totally disagree with the idea that children should be encouraged to use computers from an early age just because it may lead some consequences that we cannot avoid.

First and foremost, children will be addicted if they are allowed to use computer. When using computer, children can access to many games, especially violent games. Moreover, they can also watch films or clips which are not suitable for their age. they might find it stimulated and go on playing game or watching films everyday.
Secondly, if children spend much time on using computer, their health will worsen. According to scientists, using computer can cause myopia from an early age. In addition to that, children will have a high opportunity of having obesity if they play computer. For example, children who just eat and use computer all day without doing outdoor activities can gain weight easily.
