71 Which would you choose a high paying job with long hours that would give you little time with family and friends or a lower paying job with shorter hours that would give you more time with family and friends Explain your choice using specific reason

" Is it better , accepting high paying jobs with long hour that would give little time to stay with family?" this question depends on requirements and preferences of every individual. I would prefer to do lower paying job and spend much time with my family as well as friends.

Firstly, there was research conducted by well known university of America regarding the work satisfaction of people who are employed at high paying job that give them shorter time to stay with family, and people who are employed at low paying job which gives them good time to stay with family. And the result is, employees with High paying job with more time duration at work, are more likely to suffer with work-related stress. In my case, i would like to do job with shorter duration, as i am having responsibilities to take care of my family. Furthermore , as a woman , i have come responsibilities toward some social issues, such as, meeting with the society members, Appointment with the school-teacher of my children. In this scenario, i would never find it easy to continue with high paying jobs. It will lead to job-related frustration and other mental consequences.

Secondly, People are doing job for living healthy and happy life with their family. So, My main point is, if individual cannot find quality time with their family or friends, then he or she would be never happy. This can cause problems. For instance, I have analysed from statistics that, children of businessmen, who hardly get time for family are more prone to depression and suicidal attempts later in their life. Furthermore, the friends also disappointed with these kind of workaholic individuals. In addition, there are chances that friends , will discontinue friendship because of the job-related conflicts with that individual.

However, brighter side of high salary jobs are there, but those all advantages are materialistic. It will never allow one individual to see the precious moments such as, First step of his baby, First smile of his child while achieving best student award. "would a high-salary job give you satisfaction, which you would get by boosting up your child personally for success?" I would say affirmatively, "no".

In conclusion, i would like to restate my standpoint. " Lower paying job with shorter hours as compare hours spend with the family members and friends, would give satisfaction of cherishing important moments with my family and friends and never allow one to regret for any consequences related with my family or friend.
