Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Parents are the best teachers. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

I agree with the statement that the parents are the best teachers for various reasons. The reasons are, we have a great bondage and affection with parents and as a result we respect whatever they say. And the parents are our first teachers. They teach us, the most important things of life which are very much important for one’s success.

First, Parents are our first teachers in every one’s life. They teach us how to talk, walk and behave. For example, mother teaches her baby how to talk. Every child learns how to behave from their parents and they parents will truly have a great influence on their child’s growth and the children learns most of the qualities from their parents either directly or indirectly.

Second, parents are the best teachers because with the kind of bondage and affection we have towards our parents we respect what they say and we try to follow in the path showed by them. It is true from the studies that the parents will have a mark on their child’s behavior.

Third, the parents take the most crucial part in everyone’s life because they teach the most important things in one’s life. They teach the basic ethics of the society. They teach us what is wrong and what is right, what to eat and what not to, how to talk and behave, how to live in a society, how to earn and how to sustain and lot more. These are very much important for an individual to survive and to succeed in their career. Teachers teach the subjects and skills which are also important for one’s growth but these skills and subjects are of no use if the person has no ethics and don’t know to behave and talk.

In conclusion, I feel that the parents are the best teachers for the reasons stated above.
