Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Telephones and email have made communication between people less personal. Use specific reasons and examples to support your opinion.
“Too far, so close”! This is the condition of current world after advent of technology. Although multitude of people strongly believe that technology have made relationships of people less personal on account of reasons such as not seeing each other directly, it seems to me that achievements of tech make their communication much more than past, as persons wish to be. I disagree with the mentioned statement due to personal and social viewpoints.
Personally speaking, the most significant way for connecting people nowadays is telecommunication systems. By that, too far distances got close. For example, remember in the past while no telephone line was existed; all people could see each other since they were nearby each other. However, after explosion of population, distances got too far to such a point that persons did not meet even after one year. At this time telephone came. By that, either persons could talk together by online chatting, or they could observe each other by Skype, as fringes benefits. Hadn’t such invention (telephone and emails) created so far, individuals would have not been able to aware from the most details of each other’s life.
Socially, job markets, as social communication, throughout the world annex by internet. For example, by searching at various websites, job opportunities at any point of the world can be detected; whether those opens be far or close. Less time in past such windows of hope was existed. So, internet plays the key role in connecting social communications.
All in all, I contended that telephone and email make communications more personal simply because opportunities increased.
