what do you want most in a friend

Essay topics:

what do you want most in a friend?

 What do you want most in a friend- someone who is intelligent , someone who has a sense of humor, or someone is reliable? Which one of these characteristics is most important to you? Use reasons and specific examples to explain your choice.

A good friend is a gift of God. Friendship plays very important role in life. A friend is a person with whom we can discuss many parts of our lives, we can share happiness, sadness and with whom we can spend quality time. As far as my concern definitely I would prefer a friend who is reliable rather than her intelligence or good sense of humor.

There are several reasons for having a reliable friend but the most important fact is TRUST. If a person is not trustworthy, how could that person will be a good friend? Even how one could be a good person too? So simple as that trust is the first step of friendship. Without reliability every relation in the world is fake and useless.

Secondly, friend is the person with whom we spend a lot of time and we discuss our personal matters, some part of happiness, sadness and tragedies of life. If my friend is not able to trust on her so I will not be comfortable with her. Hence, I must say friend should be one who is trustworthy. It includes all the things which one friend has to be. Having good sense of humor and intelligence is an additional benefit.

Shortly, I would prefer a reliable friend because trust is most important to me more than any thing else in a good friendship. This way we can spend quality time and have a fearless relationship without doubting all the time.
