should learning another language be mandatory for children in school ??
Yes, I believe that children should learn a secondary language because of two reasons. First, at young ages, learning a new language is easy because the brain is still developing and it's like a sponge, it absorbs knowledge very fast and keeps it stored for many years. As you grow older, it becomes more difficult to learn a new language and it's better to learn when you are young. The second reason is that it opens up so many opportunities, especially job opportunities. There are many companies who have international partners and to communicate with them, they hire people who can speak fluently another language.
