one long vacation or several short vacation throughout a year?

There are mixed opinions about whether to take a long vacation or a multiple short vacations during a year and I believe that taking several short vacations is better because of two reasons. First, taking multiple short vacations means more vacations and it's a good opportunity to restart ourselves, our mental, emotional and physical baggage. In addition, short vacations throughout the year will keep the happiness level constant, while taking the long vacation happiness level is short-lived. Second, one long vacation throughout the year can be cumbersome to some people because it takes a lot of time to prepare, and many things have to taken into consideration, and it can be a real hassle. Short vacations tend to be more spontaneous and you won't have to worry about planning or packing too much.
