The man’s problem is that he has just got back the first draft of his paper and only one day is left until deadline. However, other students got their papers back a few days ago. So he is running out of time. There are two solutions discussed by the students. He can either ask the professor for an extension or work very fast in the left time. If I were the student I would choose the second solution. The first solution is not proper because although his concern is legitimate, it is pushy and offensive to tell the professor to recompense his fault. But the second solution is far better because if he works very fast and does his best with the remained time, he can finish the work, answer the all comments and get a good grade.
