The bar chart below shows the money spent on consumer goods in different countries.

This bar graph compares the expenditures in a thousand pounds sterling on six different consumer products such as personal stereos, tennis racquets, perfumes, CDs, toys and photographic film in four different nations.

Looking at the information in more detail, we can see that the UK residents consumed the largest amount of money in each commodity which CDs, toys and photographic film spent at around 162, 167 and 172 respectively. It is followed by France which the French consumers contributed to approximately 164 on Photographic film and just under 160 on toys and CDs. However, the spending on the other three items is the lowest compared to the other nationalities.

By contrast, unlike the UK and France which the expanding on each product were fluctuation, Germany and Italy remained steadily. Germania residents were spending a very close amount of money in each commodity at all over 145, or just under 160. Similarly, Italian people have similar expenditures in personal stereos, tennis racquets, perfumes and CDs at just over 150. It is, however, interesting to note that Italy and France have expended exactly the same amount of money in terms of toys.

Overall, it is clear that the people in the UK are more likely spending their money on consumer products, while the Germania are least likely to do so.
