The charts show the total production and sources of electricity in two countries in 1998 and 2000.

The pie graphs provide information on the total sources and production of energy in Australia and France in two specific years, in 1998 and 10 years later.

Overall, the majority of the energy produced in Australia was on coal while France on nuclear power in 2000. However, the total units of the sources were on a significant rise.

Although the most popular source of electricity in Australia was on coal with 33 units, oil had the least figure with only 10 units in 1998. In contrast, the coal and nuclear power marked the highest with 23 units respectively, while natural gas had a lower data, in France. However, the nuclear, hydropower including oil had figures between 30 to 15 units from the beginning in both countries.

In 2000, Australians coal production continued their growth to 130 units and hydropower rose to 36 units, while In France, nuclear power had the largest unit with 120. Despite the significant drop for other categories between 30 and 2 units respectively, the total production modestly increased to 120 and 180units in both countries.
